我的父亲

钟敲了七下，屋子外边下着大雨。母亲和我正等着父亲回来吃晚饭。突然电话响了，母亲拿起听筒。挂上电话，母亲的脸苍白，她告诉我，父亲花了一个下午赌博，被警察抓住了。我一听到这个，震惊了，就象晴天霹雳。

晚上我躺在床上，我为父亲感到难过。当我闭上眼睛，过去的一幕幕显现:一天，他悲哀地回家，说失去了工作下岗了。从此，他每天出去找工作都失败了。随着时光的流逝。他变得不耐烦而易发脾气。有时和母亲争吵。渐渐地，他喝酒,并且常去赌博。我们努力劝他不要那样，可他不听。

现在父亲在看守所里。我情绪低落而不能做任何事情。

我希望父亲将很快返家。

The clock struck seven， and it was raining heavily outside. My mother and I were waiting for my father to have supper together. Suddenly the telephone rang，and my mother picked up the receiver. Her face turned white and after she hung up (挂断电话），she told me this sad news ： My father spent the whole afternoon gambling and was caught by the policeman, I was really shocked to learn that, as if a thunder over my head".....

Lying on my bed that night, I felt very sorry for my father. As I closed my eyes，scenes of the past appeared:One day, he came home sadly and told us he had lost his job and was unemployed (下岗了）, From then on, he went out to find a job almost every day without success. As time went on (随着时光流逝 ），he became impatient and he lost his temper easily- He sometimes quarrelled with my mother. By and by, he got drunk and went gambling very often. We tried to dissuade him from doing so (劝他不要这样做)，but he never listened .

Now my father was at the police station. I was in low spirits (情绪低落）and could do nothing。 I hope father would be back soon.
